Dr. Vicki F. Sharp joined the faculty in 1970. She holds a B.A. from Washington University, St. Louis, and a Ph.D. from St. Louis University. Dr. Sharp who is Professor Emeritus at California State University, Northridge, is the author of over thirty-five books and numerous articles on topics related to the use of computers in education, statistics, and math. Some of her recent popular books include Computer Education for Teachers, Fifth Edition (McGraw-Hill, 2004); Make it with PowerPoint, Make it with Office, Make It with Inspiration 7.6 (Macintosh and Windows versions) (Visions Technology in Education, 2004). She has also written the HyperStudio series Web Site series for (International Society for Technology in Education, as well as books ranging from Statistics for the Social Sciences (Little Brown) to Ready in a Minute Math Games (Prentice Hall). Vicki Sharp writes for commercial magazines, speaks at National conventions; and serves as a computer consultant and trainer for software publishers and school districts in Southern California.
