Dr. Hertzog holds a B.S. in General Studies from the University of Southern California, M. S. in Education with a Reading Concentration from the University of Southern California, and Ph.D. in Education from the University of Southern California. She was a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California. She served as a classroom teacher and reading specialist in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Dr. Hertzog holds the California Reading and Language Arts Specialist Credential and serves as the Coordinator of the Integrated Teacher Education Program at CSUN.
