Ms. Adelman is a Lecturer as well as the Coordinator of the Multiple Subject Internship Credential Program at California State University, Northridge, a position she has held for seven years. Ms. Adelman has recently retired after thirty years of teaching elementary school. She has a B.A. degree from Brooklyn College, and two M.A. degrees from CSUN: one in reading instruction, and the other in educational administration. As a Writing Project and Literature Project fellow, Ms. Adelman is most interested in research regarding reading comprehension and writing instruction. She teaches seminars in conjunction with student teaching, as well as methods courses in reading and writing for elementary teachers.
