Information Technology is dedicated to provide the campus community with high-quality and state-of-the-art technology infrastructure, innovative services, and technology support. Students can obtain assistance via the IT Help Desk (phone and email), the IT Walk-In Support Center in Oviatt Library, or via the IT website.

IT Help Desk

For questions regarding desktop computing, computer/telephone equipment repair and requests, contact the IT Help Desk or visit the IT Walk-In Support Center. Services and information provided to students by the Help Desk and Support Center include:

  • myNorthridge Portal Access: User ID and Password questions
  • E-mail Assistance: Email forwarding, SPAM filtering, archival, and quota management techniques
  • Wireless Network: Get connected and browse safely
  • Shared network drive space: Access your file storage space or publish a web site
  • Computer Security: Antivirus, Firewall, and Spyware removal
  • General Computer and Technology Help
